Coaches Information

The Coaches section of the USA Swimming website has Safety Certifications information.

Safety Coordinators

Each team is required to register a Safety Coordinator as part of their annual USA Swimming Club Registration. Safety Coordinators must be 18 or older and also must be currently-registered USA Swimming Nonathlete members. They are required to attend an annual meeting conducted by the North Texas Swimming Safety Chair. When teams host meets, the team's Safety Coordinator is responsible for training the Safety Marshals provided by the host team.

The USA Swimming Website has a wealth of safety education. Look under "Swim Clubs" under the "Insurance and Risk Management" menu on the left to find the Safety webpage.
