HyTek Meet Manager and Timing System Adjustments

Dan McAllen, USA Swimming Chair of Rules and Regulations Committee has communicated a change in
Rule 102.24.4D [Adjustment for the Timing System Difference].
The effective date was originally May 1, 2012 but has been postponed until further notice.
If you have downloaded the April 30, 2012 update to Hy-Tek Meet Manager 4.0 Version 4.0Cl you should revert to their
previous version of Meet Manager [Version 4.0Ck - April 13, 2012] that does not implement Rule 102.24.4D .

Report of Occurrence Online Claim Form

The Member Services Department of USA Swimming is pleased to announce the completion of the new online version of the Report of Occurrence form.
Submitting the form online will be a more efficient way of sending information to USA Swimming. The Report of Occurrence is submitted any time there is an accident
or injury during such USA Swimming activities as Sanctioned or Approved swim meets, swimming practices, contracted Swim-a-Thons or approved social events. The online
form does require that certain sections, indicated by an asterisk, must be completed before it can be submitted...

HyTek Meet Manager software version

All meet hosts should now be using the current version 4 of the HyTek Meet Manager software to run meets. The old software is no longer supported by HyTek as of 1 Jan 2012.

Athlete Protection Training required for all Non-Athlete Registrations

All exising Non-Athletes must complete the Athlete Protection Training before they
can be renewed for the 2012 year.
All new Non-Athletes must register as a non-athlete member before initiating
the Athlete Protection Training. Once the APT is completed and matches to
their SWIMS record, a non-athlete registration card will be generated and mailed.
